INSTALLING Loadcalc 97:

In order to install and run Loadcalc 97, you must have Windows95 or
WindowsNT installed on your system. The supplied Setup program will
automatically install all program files to the directory of your choice
on your hard drive.

NOTE: If you are upgrading from a previous version of Loadcalc, and you
tell Setup to install Loadcalc 97 in that same directory, the older
version will be overwritten, and cannot be restored.

If you wish to continue using the older version of Loadcalc, be sure to
tell Setup to install Loadcalc 97 to a different directory.

OR,

Backup the old files (to floppy disks, tape backup, or a different
directory on your hard drive), then delete the old files.

TO RUN SETUP & INSTALL Loadcalc 97:

1.
Start Windows.

2.
Be sure that no other programs are running when you begin the Setup
program.

3.
Click the Windows Start button, click Run, type path:\Setup.exe
(where path = the drive and directory where the unzipped files are located), then click the O.K. button.

Setup will suggest an install directory, the name of which depends on
your system setup. It is strongly recommended that you click the Browse
(or Change Directory) button, then select a new directory.

You can choose to install Loadcalc 97 to a new directory by typing the name
of the directory to be created (named Loadcalc97, for example). Setup will
create the directory and proceed with the install.

After the install process finishes, a dialog box will appear, indicating that the install was successful.
